Dual Diploma
The Dual Diploma programme allows students to study at an accredited American high school, without the need to leave their current school. This means students can simultaneously graduate with both American and their national high school qualifications, further widening their academic and professional prospects.
Similarly to Full Time students, Dual Diploma students can transfer credits from their current school to the American high school. Some of the subjects mirror. This means that non-American students enrolled in the American Online High School Programme can focus on the additional credits that aren’t included in their domestic curriculum. To graduate with a US high school diploma, students ought to complete 24 credits altogether. Each student is only required to undertake courses, which account for 6 credits. This is assuming that the student would have completed the other credits through credit transfer (maximum 18 credits) from their domestic school. If a student cannot transfer the 18 credits, they must take additional online courses at our school. This way, they can make up for the remaining credits required to graduate.
The Dual Diploma Program lasts 3 years, which accounts for 2 or 3 subjects per year. Students can seek guidance on their schedule and learning targets with Student Advisor. Student Advisor’s job is to help students develop a personalized learning strategy that suits their needs and considers other commitments.
